Howard announced this morning that several Infinity stations in smaller markets are switching to Jack FM tomorrow at 08:00 am.

I doubt it, but if this is true, I wonder what it would do in the building, since FM100 has used "Whatever" as part of their mix for the past few months? Heck, they've even put the "Whatever" line in their new TV spots! They'd be competing against themselves at that point. Summer Book arrives tomorrow, we'll have to see what happens there first, I'm sure.

This kind of works too... compete with yourself so no one else can and take a bigger piece of the pie.... Clear channel does this in lots of markets...

ex: Jonesboro where they have 2 stations to go up against The Fox.

93X just ran a spot saying someone called "Rover's Morning Glory" will be replacing Howard Stern on January 3rd. This was right after Howard had David Lee Roth on his show talking about replacing him in NYC...

Too bad. Here was a chance for 93X to create a local morning show that would compliment their other live talent (which I really like). Oh, I forgot, that would cost money.
