WMGC not moving from Murfreesboro to Nolensville

According to today's radio-info mailing, the owners of 810 WMGC opted not to follow up on a winning auction bid that would have allowed them to relocate the station from Murfreesboro to Nolensville.

Does anyone on here know details on what happened with that?

They have a good signal in the "Boro", and they probably did more research after they applied for the CP and found it wouldn't do them much better into the metro, so they didn't bother. Besides at night, they only have 6 watts, and the bulk of thier audience is more in the boro than in Nolensville. IMHO....they probably had second thoughts and decided it was not in thier best interest. Everybody has sometimes "second thoughts" before making costly changes!
