Does anyone know why does WMGG-AM 820 is off the air?? It's been off the air a few days now. I am from Crawfordville (near Tallahassee)and sometimes I listren to WMGG-AM from Tampa.
Where and why did they pick up those call letters. Back in the 80's those were the calls for Magic 96...As in wNbc...we were instructed to say them double you EMMMMMM gee gee
When will it be back on the air?? I know it a pertty good singal of 50,000 watts daytime like WDAE-AM 620. I can get WDAE and WMGG all the way up to Tallahassee. Sometimes in and out here and there yes I know the powerlines made it happens.
Okay I was saying when I turn my radio to the AM dail I can pick up WDAE and WMGG out of Tampa Bay. I live in Crawfordville near Tallahassee. I have a very good radio in my SUV with a good antenna.
and Louis, I live in St Pete and can tell you that I can pick AM 820 just fine here. Perhaps they are having to do tower work or they have a technical issue. You could always pop them an e-mail, tell them what you've told us and ask when they plan on being back at full power.
Dont worry guys I dont have a promb. It's back on the air either yesterday or thursday back on full power. I just like to listren to them sometimes when i am here in north florida big bend.
