I find I have been listening to WMID constantly when on and off line. I have a very expensive computer system, and a more expensive Music System. I have WMID flowing through my System. What I noticed is that the stereo effect/separation/broadcast clarity is second to none. I cannot recall any other station on the net that sounds this good, which transmits the original signal in AM mono. The overall sound is amazing and its true stereo, far superior to the AM transmission. What I cannot understand is why does this station broadcast in mono on an AM signal. I would think WMID could broadcast in AM Stereo or do what they did a few years back and also use 102.3 and make it WMID-FM, back when they simulcasted Standards. Something even better is put the format on a more powerful signal in the area. It seems unfair to waste a truly great sound on just one AM mono signal.
