WMJC - Better than its ratings

Those who can actually here WMJC really seem enjoy the mix of music they play. I threw a large party today, and WMJC was the station on the stereo. Lots of out-of-towner's commenting on what a good station it is and how they wished they could get it. This includes most age and sex demographics. This included folks from NYC, NJ and Rocky Point. Friends in the listening area all enjoyed it as well.

Not the most scientific survey, but it makes you wonder if WMJC is better than its ratings. Maybe its primary issue is simply its poor signal on much of Long Island.

WMJC could be a great station. given the chance, I agree their signal stinks, but knowing that, why hasnt the owners of the station fixed the problem? I have read on this board that they have a messed up stick.,....
Simple, they dont care it is making money with the crappy signal and thats all they care about. Too Bad!
