WMJK NOT BOUGHT BY GOODRADIO?

www.goodradio.tv 's website is working now & if you click on "stations under contract" they have WCPZ & WLEC in SANDUSKY, OH, but not WMJK, CLYDE which is in the same building. Is that an error or is it "bye bye" to 100.9 The Coast? ???

I don't know if that's the case or if the website info isn't complete. I checked a couple of other markets, it doesn't list all of CC's current Lima stations, only WIMA, WIMT and WBUK...which leaves WZRX and WMLX going to another owner, or did GR just not list them? Somerset, KY lists the three current CC FMs, but what's happening to heritage AM WSFC and its companion WSFE?

One of the things that I found out by asking around is that he is "trimming the fat". The only way Clear Channel would sell the clusters is by the cluster as a whole. He in return may be taking the biggest billers in each market, or the stations with the most potential and keeping them, then spinning off more stations.

However, I dont know how true that statement is.

If you look, he is only keeping 3 stations in Lima, 2 stations in Sandusky, 2 stations in Tiffin and 2 stations in Marion.

The biggest thing is why would you launch a partial website? Either Goodradio.TV doesnt have someone looking over their web-sites or this is the final list....

That's what I've heard, too. A friend of mine who used to work at the Shepherd stations in Missouri told me the company's entire staff was informed it would not be retained.

My guess is it's an error. The FCC application clearly shows WMJK being sold to GoodRadio.TV. However, I suppose it's possible GoodRadio doesn't intend to keep it. If you want to view the application, query WPFX-FM at the FCC website.

Here's the link (if it works): http://svartifoss2.fcc.gov/cgi-bin/...ext=25&appn=101183940&formid=314&fac_num=7821

Right now the website is just a static page.

I just dont understand how in the world some company launch a new website and not proof it first. Something sounds really wrong with that.

I do know they want to dump more stations after they takeover. The had to buy the cluster, not individual stations.

It should display the transfer form, and WMJK will be listed as one of the stations. I know it seems like this site has trouble linking with the FCC documents at times, though. So, if the link doesn't work, just search it, and you should be able to read it.

Oh fiddlesticks...Their website is back to saying "coming soon". Maybe they didn't expect to be bumrushed with questions by people who noticed their station was "gone"
