WMJR-1380 Now on FM Translator

WMJR-AM, the Central KY Catholic Station is now operating on 94.9 from the WLEX-TV tower. I am sure this is being done to provide night service to Fayette County where their puny 1380 night coverage is quite limited. Seems to cover Fayette County quite well. I think the ERP is 250 watts.

These are all on the old Channel 18 tower:

WJMM-99.1 is 558 ft up the tower
W235AK-94.9 (WMJR Translator) is 427 ft up the tower
WXZZ-103.3 is 322 ft up the tower

This info is from Radio-Locator.
