WMLK Shortwave Bethel, PA

The brand new Ampegon 300kw transmitter for WMLK Bethel, PA. Yes, the station whos antennas can be seen from right off the highway in Bethel.

They resumed regular operations several months ago, and are licensed for 9275 from 1700 to 2200 utc and 15150 from 0400 to 0900 utc targetting Western Europe and the Middle East

I've never heard a whisper of the 9275 signal and the 15150 signal only began operation about a week ago but its been heard here nightly and pretty well at my McGrath Alaska QTH.

I hear alot youd never think I would so i'm surprised I heard nothing from WMLK on 9275 off the back, long path, whatever. I wonder how the 15150 signal is getting to me, what direction its taking.

The transmitter picture is form the WMLK facebook page, the antenna picture is form google street view.
