WMLT-1330 Dublin is downsizing

State Broadcasting has filed to reduce the daytime power of it's WMLT in Dublin from 5KW to 1KW. They are also eliminating the two-tower 500 watts nighttime directional facility...going to 12 watts off a single tower of 199 ft.

If they have an FM translator, most of the listening is probably there. No doubt, a shorter single tower will be less costly to maintain. I think we are going to see a lot of this in the next few years.

1330 has a translator on 96.9 FM W245BT pushing 250 Watts. The coverage should be most of Laurens county. For a few days they have been in mono for some reason.
