WMMA's translator on the air?

I saw a license to cover filed for WMMA 1480's translator (W250BZ), can anyone in the area confirm if it's on the air on 97.9? Looks like it's licensed to broadcast from atop Red Mountain so the coverage should be decent.

Yes, i heard the WMMA translator yesterday on a portable radio here in south Shelby county, but as Doctor_Technical stated above, it is on the air with a dead carrier/no audio.
