Why in the world would Preston by featured on Cbs3 when they own Wysp and with the fued between Kidd Chris and him makes no sense go to

Maybe because the "fued" is something that only Kidd has created, only Kidd participates in, only Kidd [and, when I say "Kidd", I mean only him and his small (a measurement describing a comparison between YSP's old ratings and the new illogical place-all-our-eggs-in-the-kidd-basket-YSP ratings) inside joke only fraternity. Pathetic when one's only option for success is to try to push others down to make themselves seem higher. To paraphrase a great quote that I read on this board a while back, "how much has the kidd chris following ("people that listen" for the slower folks) given towards local poverty, our boys in action, etc." They tease/demean Pierre of all people! An man/legend/normal person like you or I--purely genuine person, in so many ways, like you or I! Peirre=over 25 years of positivity. The Kidd Chris Fraternity=proven unsuccessful hatred and negativity towards everything. Look at this week alone media-wise: The Kidd show made the newspaper for doing some childish/cheesey bit on the radio involving a dumb porn star. Then, I see a TV tease on channel 3 about a local DJ losing weight. Someone says "how is Preston losing weight news?" Honestly, it beats promoting a show that indirectly promotes racism and homophobia. The way all of the evolved should look at it is: Either you are 100% against it, or you are a percentage for it. Welcome to TV sweeps.

I'm not 100% sure on what the TV ratings are around here, but KYW could probably use a boost.

Preston and Steve's ratings are better than Kidd Chris's. Sure Kidd is within your company, but KYW cna benefit more from their newscasts being plugged on P&S than Kidd's show. When the #1 morning show says "Hey! We're featured on the so and so news tonite... tune in to check it out!" That's a huge boost during sweeps.

I'm sure Kidd is peeved that P&S got the attention, but if he had better ratings, he'd get some recognition.

I completely agree with the previous poster saying P&S do a LOT of community and positive things... Kidd just acts juvenile. Advantage P&S when it comes to press.
 
After several months of listening to KC I have tuned out, the show has NO direction, not entertaining and consists of mudslinging the competition!

But let me be clear P&S are not much better, I do not care much for a one hour conversation on candy bars, and video game...

I'm the one who posted the part about P&S helping the community. How many tons of food have they raised in the last 10? years? 1000 pint of blood last summer? That blood drive was a mad house. The Red Cross had never seen anything like it but, they got over 1000 pint of blood in one day in one place, and I got a cool tee-shirt, a pint of Gadzooks! ice cream and a pint glass.

And Pierre, raising money for the van last year and hobbling to the Acmes every Saturday for the coat drive (when he should be resting his broken leg)

This is a pretty ignorant thing to say and it only makes you look like an idiot.

I'm not a P&S listener, but I can certainly appreciate that they've been in the Philadelphia area for over a decade and that they take pride in their community. It's obvious to me that most people in this city get that and appreciate that too.

I'm counting down the days until your vitriolic crap-fest of a morning show gets cancelled and you dopes get shipped off to another city. Maybe Kansas City or Tulsa have a station that's looking for a morning show?
 
Kind of amusing. When a newscast promotes a corporate cousin, it's lambasted on these boards as the end of journalism/the world. So what happens when a story features a non-related entity? People say it makes no sense, and would be more logical if it had the co-owned show.

Yeah, that makes sense.

It's true. If you're not a P&S listener then how do you know how they feel about community service? Kidd Chris will be here for a long time and will defeat P&S. It's been proven in other cities and will happen in this city. The war hasn't even begun and already it's taking over. If they have so much power and clowt, then why can't they fight back? They've got NOTHING! haha DIE!

Becasue they don't need to fight to make their show entertaining. Not that Chris trying to fight makes HIS show entertaining.

P&S have never had to stoop to shenanegins like that to win over listeners. Sure they've taken the occasional quick shot at B101 or Chio... but haven't obsessed over it like Chris (and apparently the handful of Chris listeners) are doing.

The war is non-existant. Sure it may only be getting started, but I don't think it'll ever turn to anything. If it does, I'll eat my words, but I'm not holding my breath on that.

I agree. The war is non-existant because WMMR has (and has had for a very long time) way too much class to stoop to that level. The general public wants trash, which is why WMMR has never been #1 for an extended period of time. That's fine. Let the sheep take their trash to #1.

When the bottom finally falls out on all the phoney paper money, those of us with our real gold and silver will be the only ones who aren't enslaved by the haute bourgeoisie.

I think he only meant the "will be here for a long time" part with respect to Sacramento, San Antonio and other markets KC previously was in.
