WMMR's signal slowly fading away

Seems that since the beginning of the year WMMR's signal has slowly gotten worse (to the East) with construction of the new Comcast tower.

Even though WMMR is the closest Philly station to the Jersey Shore, the signal now seems to be on par with 104.5, which is several miles farther away.

Any plans over at GM to fix this?

Contact WMMR about this http://wmmr.com/contact.shtml The more people that complain to the station that the signal is bad, the more likelihood action will be taken to fix the problem.

WRNB's signal has also been very inconsistent over the past several months. I have clear line of sight over the 30 miles between my house and One Liberty but I was losing WRNB last night to another station. In fact, I can see the tops of the buildings off in the distance.

Under normal circumstances, it comes in fine. But, on some days, it is clearly weaker and filled with static. The differences are more extreme than those exhibited by WMMR. Both stations will need to do something to deal with the new Comcast tower.

They can't just send all of their RF straight into the new tower, can they?

Would MMR and RNB have to highly consider transmitting from another location and leave One Liberty?

That may also be as a result of atmospheric DX conditions.

Sorry, I'm not from Philadelphia, but I did visit two weeks ago. Is that the big ugly building going up on the skyline? Coming in on the Ben Franklin Bridge heading west into Philadelphia, I saw that to the right of City Hall and the light blue/dark blue tower.

My description may have left that impression, but it's not the case. At certain times, the signal is significantly weaker - yet lacks the fading that atmospheric conditions can cause. Plus, I'm at a line of sight distance from the tx site. No, something has been going on.

To answer a different question, yes it is the dull-looking building near city hall. It certainly lacks the panache of One Liberty Place.

Ugly??? Dull?? Are you kidding??
That building is beautiful!!
Yes, Liberty One is more dramatic, but check out the reflective glass on the Comcast Tower.
I think you'll find that bulding will give Philadelphia a bold new look.

WMMR still sounds the same in Atlantic City.

Well, its looking better, then I expected from the model pics that came out a couple of years ago, but it still lacks any style.
