WMMS playlist add?

Is WMMS playing the new remake of the Rolling Stones AOR classic "Gimme Shelter" as done by Puddle of Mudd?
One thing I've noticed about these modern remakes by Active Rock bands is that they tend to be more heavy-handed then the originals. Disturbed really Rocked-up Genesis, Five Finger Death Punch bore down harder on "Bad Company" originally done by Bad Company, and I'm curious about this one. For the record, "Gimme Shelter" was Rocked-up in remake form once before by Grand Funk Railroad. GFR's version lacked the sophistication of the Rolling Stones original, but like these other remakes, was enjoyable.

I have not heard Puddle of Mudd's version of "Gimme Shelter". I've only read about it. I would like to hear it. There's also apparently a new version of Jefferson Airplane's "White Rabbit" as well, although the artist who does the cover escapes me at the moment. I'd like to hear that one too.

Thanks for the link. As expected, it's a bit heavy-handed. Still good though. The production values were more interesting on the original. This version makes it just another upbeat, Hard Rock song, albeit a good one. The lead singer can't hold a candle to Mick on this song, but the girl singing the soulful girl part is quite good.
