WMNY 1360

I was driving to an event tonight and caught 1360 flip on the night service during the 6pm news for a brief period. Sounded very loud as I was heading towards the Oakland area, I don't recall it being like that before. After a few minutes it went to dead air before the daytime came back on I assume. Guess its getting time to turn it on again?

The 250 Watt Night Signal does not Make it to North Hills. Anyone Know how The New Night Transmitter Replacement is Going?

The FCC web Site States the Transmitter is Installed , But Their Problems with The Transmission Lines And Tunner Units. Looks Like A Whole rebuild. Good Luck Jason. I Look forward to A Greatly Improved Nighttime Signal.

Only Jason works there and he's also doing IT for the company last I saw him. I did notice the daytime sounds different lately. Not sure if that's related to this or not.

Even if the nightime coverage improved, what could they do to be a player? I'd go with 50's -60's oldies of the Terry Lee brand of music. I guess Jeff Christie and WIXZ is not coming back or could it?
