Wonder how many out there had the priviledge to meet Birney in person? Talk about a gentleman! He was right up there with Jimmy Eatherton (also Columbus)
and J. Furr...(likewise)...how could three outstanding broadcasters be located in the same town? It happened!...another part of Mississippi radio history! So sad that this history post 1970 is fading...JBI
