WMPM, Smithfield possible frequency swap

In another local radio chat room, there's a thread claiming that Smithfield's WMPM, 1270 AM, will be moving to the spot on the dial currently occupied by WTSB 1090, which WMPM broadcasting legend Carl Lamm's son recently purchased. The thread says that Lamm's partners in WMPM want to sell the station (1270), thus Lamm will move to 1090. Can anyone hee confirm this/provide more details on the move?

The information you have is true. However for a short period of time 1270 and 1090 will simulcast.
