I really wish I could hear some kind of stream. I'm in Dayton. Any ID's? Any clues?

You totally lose the station northeast of Johnstown on Rt. 62 and some public radio station with NPR programing takes it's place. WTDA 103.9 came in the whole way - and they are at lower wattage and I believe at a lower position on the WOSU tower at Highland Lakes / Westerville compared to WMRN.

They are legends in their own minds and don't realize they've been dead for a few years now.) as the one person said should be very afraid!

Don't mean to hammer the "this isn't CHR" response into the ground, but I meant to point out one other relevant fact. Namely, that Clear Channel's Cincy cluster *does* include a CHR in addition to this station.

This sampler is "Modern AC." See KQKQ, Omaha.

This sampler is "Modern AC." See KQKQ, Omaha. Alternative-based pop music. The goal would be to be perceived as hipper than BNS-FM and not as young as NCI. Targeting the 30-year old chick with a master's degree and a good job. Any of them in Columbus?

Seeing as how WYTS has tanked, when the stunting/testing is complete maybe they should flip the TV themes over to WYTS and let the calls stand for "Your Television Station."

Yes, there are plenty of them around here. BTW, 97.1 WBNS-FM signed on as a modern AC back in 2001 when the whole Hot AC format tended to lean modern. But 97.1 has always been far more current-based than this monitor of WNNF. I'm personally hoping for something a tad less modern-leaning though still gold based, like the CC Mix stations in Cleveland or Dayton. That's not to say that the NNF approach wouldn't be welcome and sensible for the market and the local CC cluster. Not so sure about the harder "Radio xxx.x" approach CC has been using outside Cincy, though; it would be fun to see someone swipe all of CD-101 owner Roger Rabbit's carrots, but 106.7 needs to play in a much bigger vegetable patch than that. 97.1, SNY's younger end, and even disenfranchised radio listeners could provide plenty of "green" for 106.7.
Nu_Roo_2 said:Now that you mention it, the local CC stations really do seem to excel audiowise, especially compared to the likes of 94.7 and 97.1. And, as someone else suggested, those TV tunes actually sound a lot better on 106.7 than they ever did on TV. Seeing as how WYTS has tanked, when the stunting/testing is complete maybe they should flip the TV themes over to WYTS and let the calls stand for "Your Television Station." (Just kidding, jakej.)
