WMSJ Power Boost (Not So "Minor")

Any time I see "a minor change to licensed facilities" in the FCC's Actions or Applications list, I have to check it out if it's around here. So WMSJ is going to go from a 7,500-watt vertical-only output to 30,000 watts horizontal and vertical, and that's a minor change? One weird thing...they'll be installing a slightly directional antenna; they're 72 miles from Concord, NH's WEVO-89.1. That seems to be a sufficient distance for adjacent-channel stations to be NDA. WEVO itself is NDA now...I thought it went on-the-air 25 years ago with a directional antenna to protect one of Vermont Public Radio's outlets.

it also has Husson's 89.3 in Bangor that recently upgraded to 3kw to protect

They are suposedly putting up a translator in my area(NoCo NH). Translator is up, actually. Last I head they were having issues with receiving a signal from the Freeport station.

if they're having trouble recieving the signal, looks like they put the cart before the horse in that they went ahead with the translator before the power boost
