WMUU changing to talk

Unfortunate news. :-[ WMUU's signal carries all the way to Athens, GA, and I used to listen to them while visiting friends there. They will be missed.

The format will continue on the Internet. Terrestrial broadcasting is over with. The Internet is a necessity today, like a phone or electricity. Without it, there is nothing in terms of information or entertainment.

WHLC is not receivable in Greenville to my knowledge.

I have a feeling that WMUU online won't be the same...will likely just be automated music with occasional liners. A lot of loyal listeners are angry with the station and won't follow it online.

A sizeable portion of their audience probably doesn't know how to use the internet.

WHLC - also the callsign of the radio station of my alma mater, Lehman College (AM 590)... I don't know if they're still on the air... :-[
