You didn't even stick around to say hello to the Racoon? What kind of radio fan are you anyway?

actually, Raccoon lent me his cell phone so I could find mine! He's a good man and the show sounded good. But Raccoon's work better in seclusion.

no prob Mr. Varulven! by the way I am uploading today's show to the WMWM site in case anyone wants to hear it. Will only be up for awhile. Blues, local blues, and even a half hour of baseball-related songs andbits....If I'm a raccoon, why am I doing a show at noon, though, eh? So much for nocturnal! :)http://www.wmwmsalem.comand look forPODCAST SHOWThe Juke Joint with Bob Nelsonfrom April 30, 2006Hour 1Hour 2Hour 3

Is this a radio show classifieds board? What's with the ads?

Oh no. Bob has gone to the dark side. (shakes fist) Damn you Joe, damn you! :p

Joe's not a bad guy, as Jerry would say, but we all have our little disagreements with other people...a couple times I've bumped into Joe over at WMWM or WNSH and I tell him, "Don't mind me, I'm just a little HowieCarr clone. I'm harmless." LOL

Dear Mr. V,Your seem to be dropping in on Doug's show alot. What ru trying to take it over?Doug may not be the most brightest guy in the world, or as you would say create the best Content. He does have a passion for radio, why else would he have hung on at NSh for so long ? He does his little show on Saturdays to have fun and hopefully make people happy. He doesn't need you Mr. Professional Radio telling him how to do his show.I invite you and anyone else on the board to take a good hard look at the picture of Doug on your little blog page. He looks absolutely miserable having those so-called rap artists of yours on his show. Just to state for the record this isn't a shot a them. It's at you for trying impose your influence over Doug's show. BTW Down in a Hole by Bronson Arroyo? Excuse me but didn't we trade that loser? What are you gonna play next "Playing the Field" by Tony C.? Oh yeah I noticed Doug's long time partner Kid F. was absent from the listing of crew on Doug's show what did you drive him away?Oh about the Podcasting on WMWM that's pretty cool Raccoon I'll have to check your show out online since I'm usally working or out of the area when your show is on live.

Hey We'reNotAmusedByPseudonymsofNik,For your information, I didn't pick the music. Just because you supported Bronson Arroyo doesn't mean he has talent. You, after all, think the Beatles are passe.Doug's been on the air longer than you! On commercial radio. I just stopped in to have my coffee and say Hi and deliver some records. And what's wrong with Rap? Aren't you hip? Those "rap" artists you reference happen to be #13 with a bullet on the Billboard Hip Hop/R & B charts. The single is called "boom drah", first heard on WNSH and now Top 15 in Billboard. (May 6, 2006 Billboard)

Hey *, pseudonyms of Nik? GET IT STRAIGHT JOE: IM NOT THE ONLY PERSON HERE WHO HAS A PROBLEM WITH YOU, ISTILLHATEPEOPLENAMED JOE, is not me. WAKE UP there are plenty of other folks who cannot stand you based on YOUR behavior on this board alone. You can never ever take responsibility for your own actions, its always, always, always someone else's fault with your whiney ass, pathetic!. Raccoon radio (by the way a more horrific handle I have yet to hear, what the hell does it MEAN anyway?) is a fool to have you in his studio then again it's college radio so how much harm can you actually do?. One day you'll be on here howling abou how he crossed you, betrayed you etc, you wait and see Raccoon, he cant help it its part of his problem you wait and see you'll be regretting ever treating him like he's a rational being sooner than you think!. I have to question the sanity of someone who after reading his posts here, would actually WANT to spend time with him out in the real world, jesus can anyone really be that lonely?. Get it straight *, you have a lot of enemies because you've smeared many people on this very board in addition to your obnoxious posts many of which have nothing to do with radio or fact but are all about your agenda, political, personal etc. Stop fixating on ME you're not liked Joe, get it straight, you are not liked very much at all and it's not just me who finds you annoying.

>>what the hell does it MEAN anywayIt means I'm a fan of furry comics with raccoons, and radio. It almost could be like "rockin' radio". The fact that you consider it horrendous pleases me to no end. :) And I had to convert it to racconradio here because of a filter (which thought I meant a derogatory, racist term). Now, be careful, or I'll raid your barrels or catch rabies... :p

Now there is a post by a stable individual. Sheesh. Oh well, I guess it beats having NO TRAFFIC like theBrand Exxx board out there in cyberspace.

P.S. The "stable post" of course refers to Nik. This site isn't as easy to navigate as they old one.By the way, I wasn't on Bob Nelson's show - I was busy cleaning up the record section of WMWM - a bitof free community service - while Doug was finishing up his show. Also, as stated, I brought CDs up to Doug, their playlist on both nights was their playlist.

I love a good flame war as much as the next board lurker, but you guys are *both* looking like **** right about now. Give it a rest already.

Joe was helping to push out records (yes we still have 'em) so they're not warped...Both boards including The One We Can't Mention Its Name have traffic. Diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks. That's why there's not just Coke but Pepsi, Polar, RC, etc.

So that typical self promoting post from Joe was not even about his being on air, but he posted here about how he had such a great time cleaining out the record library at Salem State's college station?. The relevence to Boston radio there is WHAT exactly?. Yeah Joe you're a real power player in media. Save posts like that for your blog which no one reads, that's what blogs are for.

Description of Radio Activity

For your info, Nik:Cleaning Up the station is seeing ten thousand vinyl albums haphazardly thrown on shelving and taking the time to carefully make sure they don't warp, and that the shelves don't break. That's Cleaning Up a station.Cleaning OUT a station is when a program director orders 25 copies of promotional discs and the hard working promo guy (that would be me) finds them in Nuggets for sale instead of being given away on the air, which is why we gave your P.D. 18 additional copies (along with the original 7) of Alvin Lee with George Harrison.Hope that clarifies the definitions for you.I know you're not familiar with vinyl as you made it clear you are not fully aware of The Beatles' catalog. The Beatles' are a 1960s aggregation that sell in excess of ten million units per title.

So again you did nothing tthat some college freshman doesnt do. Jesus Joe your accusations are well documented yet no one takes any of them seriously, no one has ever acted upon them, noting has ever been done about them, hence you have ZERO credibility. You're whining about a bunch of albums that ou gave to someone in what? 1980? Even if what you say is true then guess what? YOU ARE A PARTICIPANT IN SAID "SCAM"... but no, you're always the innocent victim arent you? always the victim, the argument of the weak and impotent. Stand up, be a man, MOVE ON. What you seem not to realize is that the more you tell these stories it is you that comes off looking unstable and obsessive not Oedipus or anyone else. You're the one still spewing the same accusations some twenty years later with no action taken. Go accomplish something on your own, if you would ever actually DO something you would not have to spend so much time TELLING people all that you have done which is all ou do all the time....., they would already know. You keep accusing people of wrong doing and you're the one who looks bad, you've marginalized yourself as a lonely, bitter, old cjavascript:void(0);rank, failed musician/radio and Tv wannabe, who just lashes out at those who have succeeded where you have failed. Don't you know that by now?. ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)

Well, the station does come in (just barely) in Boston on a good tuner, so it is part of Boston radio. I wish it came in better. I'd like to be able to hear the weekend blues and doo-wop shows more clearly.
