WMYS 98.1 New Bedford MA 1979

WMYS/98.1 was one of my favorite FM stations of the day. I believe this was the Drake/Chenault Contempo 300 (Adult Contemporary) format. It was a really nice sounding station in its' day. It had about the cleanest FM Stereo audio chain in the area. They always had a nice coverage area. In fact, when I was living in Great Barrington, MA, WMYS came it quite well in Stereo in the car. It was also on the cable system on the FM service. Lot of memories back then. :)
