WNAK 730 Nanticoke PA 2004

Another local station that served its community well back in the day. Back even when they were WHWL they broadcast Nanticoker HS Football games and had a decent news department. I remember for a time, maybe in the 60's they were doing a top 40 format and called the station "Win-ack" - they even had jingles to that effect. At one time I remember when they were above Woolworths they were chaging format and getting rid of their rock records. My cousin and I visited the station and the guy on-air gave us some. Of course that was in the days when Nanticoke actually has businesses along Main and Market streets. Who would advertise on such a station now?
