For many of us Cris Connor was the high water mark of commercial radio. Thanks Chris.
Fast Freddie Fever said:As Freddie Fever on WNAP and Steve Knight on WAZY FM a post said Freddie Fever went to........ After leaving the Buzzard I did stand up Comedy in Indy and then moved to San Francisco where I did stand up and worked for K101 an AC station. I moved to Los Angeles where I worked for the Dodgers when they won the World Series. I left that job to work for Power106 an Emmis station which was number one in L.A. at the time with old friend from WNAP Eric Edwards the best production man in the country. I worked there for over 5 years and at the sametime got into the conccert merchandising world working at every major venue and bands in the world. I then did a stint at Star 98.7 afternoons with Gary Spears. Ryan Seacrest followed us doing evenings. I next worked with Gary Spears doing mornings at B100 on The Patty,Steve and Gary show. I then Joined the staff of Y107 in L.A. an alternaative rock station. Worked for a short time on After Midnight with Bill Gardner a syndicated show. I became OM/PD at Jill FM outside of L.A. but with a signal that got into the city. Final stop in Radio was afternoons again with Gary Spears on KBIG 104 where we did a morning show in the afternoons. I returned to concert merchandising after two years at KBIG working on major concerts and sporting events. So that is where I went. Recently moved back to Indianapolis after 28 years in California. I moved back for the weather.
