WNBC 11pm Stream

For the past two nights I have been streaming the 11:00 news on channel 4. Twice, the stream ended abruptly around 11:25 just before the sports. I'm wondering if this is intentional. Are they unable to stream the sports due to copyright restrictions from MLB/NFL/NBA on game clips?

I think so, the same thing happens on WABC's stream. If the highlights have copyright protection, couldn't they at least air just the audio of the sports anchor? PIX 11 does stream their sports, both audio and the still images they use and have done so for months. No one has shut them down as a result, though their reports are just a minute long.
