There are talks that Mike Bloomberg is going to send Bloomberg media to a blind trust if he gets the DNC Nomination and The Presidency. Also there have been reports that Bloomberg Media has been compromised over how they cover the DNC Primaries because of its investor and leader. WNBP-FM is affected by this issue given that its the radio O&O for Bloomberg media and the issue they brought up is conflicts of interest.

Bloomberg then grew the business to include a financial news arm, which has morphed into a major news wire service. The outlet has faced criticism for allowing its reporters to cover the campaign but blocking them from reporting in-depth investigations into Bloomberg or his Democratic rivals. Newsroom leaders didn’t impose similar restrictions on reporting regarding Trump.

Bloomberg has also faced renewed scrutiny over lawsuits filed by women at his company alleging discrimination or hostile treatment. Bloomberg has said he won’t release women from any nondisclosure agreements they’ve signed with the company.

Bloomberg entered the presidential race in November and has been steadily climbing in national polls, buoyed by $400 million in advertising. Worth an estimated $60 billion, he is entirely self-funding his campaign.

I was thinking about that too, but we'll see what happens.

The station is WNBP (AM) 1450 and it has two FM translators-- W221EE at 92.1 and W291CC at 106.1. Both are Newburyport but I think the latter has a CP to move to Haverhill.
Technically there is no WNBP-FM that I know of, but maybe people think of it as such.

Similarly the FM translator for WJIB (740) at 101.3 in Cambridge is W267CE, not WJIB-FM

Here is the link that Bloomberg's group own WNBP-FM Boston.

By co incidence there's the FM translator for WNBP 1450 Newburyport at 106.1, owned by Bloomberg but there is also W291CW at 106.1 in Boston, simulcasting WRCA 1330 Waltham. Those two are owned by Beasley and leased to Bloomberg. The Boston and Newburyport stations are marketed as Bloomberg 106.1. The Bloomberg radio site mentions it as Boston and adds that it's also on the HD2 of Bradley's WBOS 92.9.

Ironically the 1450/106.1 in Newburyport which Bloomberg actually owns is not mentioned but saying "106.1" could apply to the Merrimack Valley one as well.As for Wikipedia WNBP and its translator do serve part of the Boston area but the city of License is Newburyport.

Actually, fairly recently, W221EE-92.1 moved down to Topsfield, near the Rt.s 97&1 intersection (almost across the street from WBOQ-104.9’s xmtr)—apparently an interference issue with Derry NH’s 92.1 station.
