WNCI History

Does anyone know the history of WNCI, back when it was known as Stereo 98 or The Great 98? When did WNCI first played top-40 music? I am looking for promos, jingles, and airchecks from that era. 21 Century Programming, RNI, TM Productions, Sweep Productions, Pepper-Tanner, and perhaps one or two other lesser-known jingle companies (CBS The Young Sound) during the late 1960s through the 1970s.

I'm restarting this threat from a year ago.

State wrestling tournament---78 or 79---I stayed in hotel across the street from WNCI studios, almost thought of walking over and applying, but basically you couldn't go anywhere in Columbus without hearing WNCI blasting out of car radios or elsewhere.
