WNDE 1976

Can anybody name the lineup for WNDE-1260 .. circa 1976?

As I recall, mornings were Robin Hood and Julian "Moontof" (?) ... Brother Barry Chase had drive time ... Am I on track here? [I was riding in my high-school aged sister's car at the time]. I know Ken Cocker came along around then too, how about when "Bear with the Hair Bradley" ... when did they take on Indy? Finally, do you recall when "the entire airstaff" resigned ... although Barry Chase and Scott Wheeler were still on-air?

Cheers!

I know that overnights were done by Mike O'Brien (who came over from WIFE in the early spring of '75). I also have an aircheck from Kevin Murphy from the summer of '76 doing a Saturday 10-2 shift, so I know he was there.

summer 1976 WNDE was...

6-10a steve michaels

10-2 kevin murphy

2-6 brother barry chase

6-10 marvelous mark (zintel)

10-2 smokin greg (scheafer)

2-6a mike o'brien

Thanks ... a bit of nostalgia ... Marvelous Mark (McClure) and Smoke'n Greg (Shaffer) cut their teeth at 990AM WERK in Muncie before heading to Indy ... to go a little deeper, the morning guy at WERK in the mid 70's is current WTTS a.m. dude, Paul Mendenhall.

There was a management change at WNDE WINDY 1260 and a subsequent walk out. The new PD Dave Parks put together the following line up in '77

6-10 Ron Jordan
10-2 Scott Wheeler
2-6 Jeff Lucifer
6-10 Ken Cocker
10-2 Bobby Hatfield
2-10 Mike O'Brian

Ken left to go to Chicago, Bear Bradley came in for a brief time and Ken returned to WNDE.
