why should they? the two plots between the current license and the proposed license don't seem that much difference. Their near field radiation will be higher, but who gives a damn about having a better signal in Hammond and Gary? Also it's a daytimer...who cares? Sign on in winter will be around 8am.
By boosting to 15,000 Watts with 3 towers(compared to 5kw/2 towers) WNDZ will actually have a better signal NW and N into more of CHICAGO and the suburbs...

Newsweb has yet to put up the 3rd tower up yet. I was riding with my Mom through Portage, while on my way to a family picnic in Westville. I could careless if the station upgrades their power. I don't listen to them. It's usually brokered ethnic programming that I can't understand.
