WNEW-FM Washington playing Rock right now

WNEW-FM Bowie/Washington is playing the old History of Rock and Roll series right now. It's not quite the WNEW-FM of New York, but it is so crazy for me to hear some Rock music and the station identifying as WNEW-FM Bowie/Washington. Thirty years ago I would have never ever imagined that I'd be sitting here in the suburbs of Washington listening to WNEW-FM playing rock music on 99.1FM.

The all news format is apparently going to start sometime in January.
