PPMs and general demand have created a trend in format changes lately - flips to CHR. WNFN Nashville had been broadcasting an ESPN sports talk format branded as 106.7 The Fan. However, all of this changed on July 29th, when the station began stunting with construction sounds - something common to Cumulus stations. The stunting was occasionally interrupted with fleeting references to Praise 106, a Contenporary Christian format which the station was rumoured to be adopting. However, this never happened, as the station flipped to a CHR / Top 40 format called i106, which is a clone of Indianapolis' i94 (WRWM).
