WNGC is now identifying it's city of license as Arcade after years of it being Tocoa. The new id says Arcade-Athens-Gainsville.

WNGC's new leagal id

WNGC,... Hmmm wait a min, dont they play country?......Oh yeah they do......ummm,wondered why I didnt care.. Sorry.. They sounded great years ago, now they sound horrible. When Sabrina Gibbons was there, and Ted Clark in mornings..Was a good station,, But now not so much.. country music.. Ick..
September 11 2008 an amendment to an application was filed with the FCC to change the city of license from Toccoa to Arcade. No changes in transmitter location was requested. The application was granted in March of this year.

Of course WNGC plays country music,they are a country sation,they have a deep playlist and play songs from the 80's and early 90's. George Mason-Dixion sounds great just like he did when he was on Y106.

Brent, I believe the point of the original post was simply to point out that WNGC had changed their legal ID to include their new city of license. What you and Lilburn did was essentially say "ewww, country" and act condescending, which didn't add anything meaningful to the conversation.
