WNIR Picks New Newsie Post Midoch

A reader points out to me that WNIR/100.1 is listing a new newsman on its website:

He's Mark Richards, who apparently takes the assistant news director reins with Phil Ferguson becoming ND in Jim Midoch's absence.

So, the question is...who is Mark Richards?

They didn't replace Jim Midoch on the morning show page...it's just Stan, Steve and Maggie, with Phil not listed.

Mark Richards used to be with Rubber City Radio in various compacities. Mostly with WAKR but did do some air time - weekends I believe - on WONE. Very nice guy, IMO he'll make a nice addition to WNIR.

He might want to write a big sign that reads W-N-I-R. I've heard him say WAKR three times in the last few days.
