Tom Erickson often trashes the Summit County Animal Shelter and has his daughter on his show, praising her for rescuing animals they say are abused at the shelter. He pimps her rescue organization "Heaven Can Wait" regularly.

Turns out his daughter was far from an angel and crammed over 100 animals in a small dirty house said to contain sewage and maggots. It was raided by Akron police and the health department. The house was in such bad shape it was condemned.

Over 100 animals were rescued in far from "humane" conditions. Some were reported to have waste matted in their fur.

Tom refused to talk about it on the show tonight, cutting off listeners who mentioned it and hanging up on them. His daughter is running for office in Akron. Can she have her office amongst the sewage and maggots and move the animals she abused to city hall?
 
Is this still an issue? It should be. Not only is the hypocrisy breathtaking, I imagine the interior of that house would be hard to breathe in. I detest pompous talk show goons who have such pitiful ulterior motives. And yet the public doesn't run them out and the owners don't care. Who else will they get to take up all that time for about $25k a year? Look at Limbaugh - ranting against drug use and white guys who go into the ghetto to buy and ... he's busted for drug charges. Twice.

America is completely insane these days.
