Several years ago, I heard Glen Beck going off aboout what killed local AM radio. For him, it was small town owners doing remotes from places like I-Hop, totally irratating everyone in the place and everyone listening to the radio. Soon, all the listeners left. Having been there, done that, I tend to agree.

Last night I was listening to Ole Blue Eyes on1360. Then at 8pm, a show called Records Retention comes on. While kind of entertaining, doing this on the air? Shows like this continue to leave AM staitons in the scrap heap.
