Was looking at WNJC's Wikipedia entry... Did anyone notice that an entire paragraph added by the people behind a wrestling show that airs on WNJC, a paragraph that has no business being on any Wikipedia entry in the first place, has been on there for over half a year?
Someone added to it that the station "became the home of" a wrestling show featuring something called "King Magnus." Last August, someone added this paragraph: According to station manager Ross Bergot, the hiring of Wells (aka "King Magnus"), was made to address a companywide initiative to better accommodate the mentally handicapped. Wells, who suffers from down syndrome, is, as has been said on the VOC Nation, "fascinated by pretty colors and shiny things from 1980-1986, as well as 1987-1988."
The website to which that "quote" was attributed links to a dead website. Usually, Wikipedia's editors are quick to eliminate these kinds of things. Hard to believe this has littered the WNJC entry for over six months. Even as some edits in other areas have been made since the addition of that paragraph. Also, WNJC doesn't "hire" hosts, since it's a brokered station. So there's another false statement.
