Signal's a little better in the car in NKY....

Anybody got a signal report?

I'm in Delhi; it sounds better here.

I'll have to check it out in the car next time I'm driving around town. Depending on where I am in the city, WNKR would battle it out with the Dayton jazz station on 106.5.

Yes - it is now "Ross 106.5" in Chillicothe. Not certain when it moved but I feel it has been several months now. I believe it is AC or Hot AC format.

Good old WSRW...or as they called it in the early 70's..."High Fidelity Radio"...in living mono back in the day.

I remember sitting in St. Ignatius Church (Monfort Heights on the NW side of Cincy) early one Sunday morning when a WSRW sign-on suddenly blared over the church's PA system. Apparently, the church used an amp/tuner that must have had a wireless mic set to 106.7. But that morning there was some good tropo propagation that over rode the wireless mic. Needless to say, I couldn't wait to get out of church so I could go home and DX ;D

WNKR 106.7 coming in fair - good in Cincy northern suburbs - Blue Ash/Sharonville (much better than when the Hillsboro station had that frequency).
