WNKR Update

Is there any update on WNKR is doing? I think they are one of the few FM stations doing country classics. I understand they are going with ony two full time jocks. I would like to hear them go with a third jock during the day. I hate listening to stations paying liners for a daytime shift.

I wish everyone at WNKR the very best becasue they are locally owned and operated.

WNKR had Jim Labarbara in the afternoon a few years ago but went back to two jocks ever since He left. Maybe they could go satellite to fill the midday slot instead of the computer they use?

I think it would be a real plus to pick up Dial Global's Country Classic programming mid day, evenings, overnights and weeks to complement the local jocks.

I don't enjoy WARM in Cincinnati mid days since they went to liners as to when they had live local jocks.

WNKR had used a satellite service when they were new country. I believe they used what was the Jones Country format before they became Dial Global. Warm now sounds like it did years ago. Gold Based AC.
