WNKU has a new translator

89.7 WNKU has a new FM translator at 94.5 with a tower somewhere near Fairfield. This is good news for me, because I enjoy WNKU but can't pick it up well because of interference from WHSS and WLHS. Right now they're not in stereo for some reason, but whatever. I guess Channel 945 fans in Cincinnati will be dissapointed. Instead of hearing the latest Beyonce song for the umpteenth time, you'll hear Little Steven's Underground Garage, which actually plays good music.

A lot of translator Construction Permits are set to expire & they can not be extended. Build 'em or lose 'em. There are 7 that I know of in Indiana that have suddenly sprung to life in the past 2 months. There may be other channels that people enjoy listening to that are about to get clobbered...hopefully with worthwhile material.

Translators are useless....maybe channel 945 shold find one in cincinnati! Just to piss you off.
Once, again...TRANSLATORS RUIN RADIO!!!! DUH!

Between the 94.5 in Dayton and the very powerful 94.5 in Lexington, how can they fit a 94.5 translator anywhere near Cincinnati?

It's not like 94.5 in Lexington has any listeners in Cincinnati like it did in the '80s, but still...
