WNLT-FM Upgrade; could affect WORI and WPAY

WNLT has petitioned to move its COL to Delhi Hills and upgrade to a signal on the old WINK tower in Price Hill. WORI-FM (90.1) would change its COL from Delhi Hills to Harrison (so they still have service) and WPAY in Portsmouth would power down. WNLT would get a better signal to the east and into downtown.

Interesting stuff.

Veddy interesting...in the early 1960's, my older brother (we grew up in Cincy) had a tube type FM tuner with the local frequencies noted on the dial. One of those frequencies was 104.3...does anyone know if 104.3 was actually a Cincinnati frequency about 50 years ago?

I don't know about 50 years ago, but the FM station at 98.5 was originally at 104.3 as WAEF, I believe.
