WNMB resurgence as.....?

Sunday afternoon as wifey shops at Home Goods...I like to do some dxing on AM. Audio on AM900 barely audible but I could hear ID & 95.5. Songs Matched. WNMB 95.5 is on the air. ID credits N Myrtle Beach A-N-D translator for Atlantic Beach. One lengthy cmml break loaded with spots you see constantly on OTA diginet channels. Radio-locator had no update nor an 95.5 open slot. This whole time I was two miles from Main St in OD. Their motto was Beach and music "without the edge." Or so... Very professional sounding. Company backing/money quoted too fast for me. Could anyone shed more info? I live close to 22/90 hwys. Strong signal for an FMer/lpfm.

Colonial Media Group bought WNMB. A simple logo on their web site that I stubbled onto mentioned WNMB-FM coming this summer '17. Since the purchase CMG has now become Colonial Media + Entertainment (.com). Wikipedia has a very informative write-up on WNMB. To anyone who should read the history don't overlook what Colonial paid for WNMB. AM/FM still in simulcast with AMer on 5 watts instead of 500. Very weak. One station promo proclaims..."we don't talk over begining of songs." Not my kinda music (dedicated to The Surf myself) so I only spot-check when out & about. But how/when did 95.5 get its start?

Slightly better now.

I prefer WEZV. And it can be improved if someone will tell us what the music is.

apparently WEZV has changed. They let a bunch of personalities go, according to a letter to the editor in the local newspaper. Music sounds different too.
