WNNF Cincinnati Drops Nash For Cat Country

https://radioinsight.com/headlines/180811/wnnf-cincinnati-drops-nash-for-cat-country/

A rebranding has taken place at WNNF.

Yet another of Cumulus Media’s Country outlets has dropped the “Nash-FM” branding as 94.1 WNNF Cincinnati OH has relaunched as “Cat Country 94.1“.

No on-air lineup changes accompanied the rebranding as the station still features the syndicated Ty Bentli Show in mornings, Karen Van Zant in middays, Program Director Chris Clare in afternoons, and the syndicated combo of Nash Nights Live and Blair Garner Show in evenings. The station is promoting 53 minute song blocks per hour with the revamp.

I agree. Changing the name is not going to bring in new listeners. It's like putting lipstick on a pig. I don't understand why Cumulus would bother unless they are planning to drop the Nash brand.
