WNNH Oldies 99

The original 99.1 went on nthe air this date 20 years ago.

My friend Clark Smidt put WINNER 99 on air. Doing what he called Classic Gold...listeners started calling it OLDIES 99...

He changed the branding pretty fast, got new jingles and so there!

;)

And Smidt was the first Morning Guy(sort of).

Stan Edwards did Middays (what happened to Stan at WOKQ?).

The Pulse's Peter St. James did afternoons.

A whole slew of players over the years.

Disassembled by Nassau and replaced with the lifeless FRANK. Now simulcasting "Radio Disney" 105.5

What ever happened to Peter St. James? I remember working with him back in the mid-70's at WEMJ before my TV days.
