I remember Alan from my WNOE days, and met his brother David when I worked in Jackson. Both were kind, intelligent, talented radio guys! The last time I saw Alan was a few years after WNOE, up here in Monroe. We were both with our friends at a nice seafood restaurant, seated at adjoining tables, with our backs to each other. As we were talking, we overheard each other's voices, turned around at the same time, and literally screamed Oh My God! I have laughed many times about the chances of Alan and I running into each other like that, and about the ability that jocks have of recognizing each other by their voices! Sweet memories of Alan...
