WAGI was really one of the last big signal FM "locals" around here. There are plenty of small AMs, but not a blowtorch like 105.3.Mike Sheridan said:Just when you think there are no more "move ins" left. I feel bad for the small cities around Charlotte who lose their radio stations.
I guess Davidson is hoping all of the Spanish listeners that listened to 105.3 in the Greenville area will go to 103.9 there. The signal quality in Greenville has gone down significantly (but it's actually better than WBAV). I think they used to carry a lot of the same programming.
