WNRG-LP "ENERGY DANCE MIX" RADIO DEBUTS

The stereo channel balance needs fixed, at least on the Windows Media stream. Left channel audio is almost nonexistent.

..A Pretty decent mainstream station.... needs better imaging though. With some HOT imaging, it could be a real good sell! And they have fixed the stereo channel balance too! I have bene listening a lot lately..

I've always thought Low Power FM's is the way to get the brand of "pure dance" out into the communities. The cost is so relatively low,no worries about market share means no need to play the quasi dance sound. ;)

When I listened the other day they were only about 40% mainstream. I think an up tick to 70%
mainstream would be better.......and they concentrate more on the bigger HITS.

You don't know how happy it makes me to see you guys use QUASI DANCE on here...........because
that's exactly what a lot of Dance is.........not all they way there. Maybe I'm not talking to a wall after all. ::)

I noticed it had been fixed. Levels are nice and consistent so they have to be doing some sort of processing on the stream. As for imaging, if it's a Low Power FM there will be little budget for imaging (I'm involved with one and we're blessed to have a "Mister Voice" in-house to do imaging).

I will say that dance certainly makes for a more interesting and listenable format choice than canned religion or far out politics that the majority of LPFM's run. The problem is just getting enough financial support to keep things going. I haven't heard any underwriting on this stream so I'm not sure how it is supported.

It's supported by donations from listeners. I threw 'em 10 bucks because it's nice to have them around! So here's your chance to support dance radio! Albeit their coverage area is tiny, smaller than some pirate stations, they probably have a few fans in Melbourne/Palm Bay. Wouldn't it be awesome if we could get an LPFM like this in Miami Beach!

I'd love to pick up this station via e-skip one day, I tried to DX it during an e-skip to Florida a few weeks ago, but couldn't get it. But I did come close, got Magic 107.7 from Orlando.

Is this station still on-the-air? Their streamlinks are down.

I believe their streamer is being updated....That's why it was taken down. Check back in a week or 2 to see if the stream-link is up and/or it is in Stereo :)
