Comparing 880 to a heritage fulltimer like WDIA may be a stretch, but I agree that it could become a great station if it can indeed merge its playlist with 1240's and use the "cream" of both stations' staff "crops" -- at least in the short term. What concerns me about 880's more distant future is that, due to Davidson's emphasis on non-English-language programming, it may end up being treated like a stepchild in the Davidson family of stations.<P ID="signature">______________
