WNSH adds Tammy Bruce weekdays

There was talk that the new 30kW (DAYS...) signal of WNSH in Beverly would have the Satellite
Sisters at 3 pm weekdays and I did notice they were on, but apparently acc. to the 'NSH site
3-6 pm is now Tammy Bruce, syndicated from Talk Radio network (she has done fill ins for
Laura Ingraham). Her site describes her as "an openly homosexual, pro-choice, gun owning, pro-death penalty, voted-for-President Bush progressive feminist" and a "lifelong Democrat".

This afternoon, around 3:15PM, they were back with the Satellite Sisters. Perhaps they're using Tammy Bruce as a fill-in on the days that the Sisters are off?

Also, what's their evening lineup look like right now after they switch to night power? How far is that 85W signal travelling?

They were running Tammy Bruce just before 4 pm and now after 4 pm too today. I have it on now.

Not sure how far the 85w night signal is going, etc.

Hmm. . .perhaps there was a glitch with the birdfeed. . .

I've heard Tammy Bruce a few times and she is pretty interesting. Her show makes for more compelling radio than the Satellite Sisters, but the Sisters delivery seems more in line with the target demographic for a talk format driven by women's issues.

Thanks for the update.

Not very far. There's a lot of co-channel and adjacent interference at night.

Heading south toward Boston, it begins to fade by the south side of Salem. It's weak and noisy in Lynn, and barely audible under other stuff in Saugus and Revere. Completely gone after that. It did seem to come in somewhat out in Nahant over the water.

To the north, I checked in Ipswich one night, nothing. Heading south from there, I don't think it began to come in until somewhere around Wenham.

>>she sounds very confused

well there are some people out there who are a bit of both--part conservative, part liberal. The other
day Phil Hendrie was saying we needed a third party--socially moderate or lib but fiscal and
military conservative. And Dennis Miller has used that line about how he didn't mind if Larry and
Steve got married, but if an Islamo-fascist wanted to firebomb their wedding , he'd have a problem
with that etc.

>>voted-for-President Bush

note that on her show today she was tearing both W and the First Lady apart for various things
so she's not a blind follower on everything they do (note also that talk hosts like Hannity, Howie,
and Ingraham took the prez to task over things like the Harriet Myers nomination, the Dubai
Ports deal, and the immigration "dream act" plan.

lifelong Democrat
Sorry but lifelong Dems don't vote for the opposition-twice: particularly if he's the worst Pres. of our lifetime. It's like calling yourself a Catholic and then admitting you've never been to mass.
I've heard her in the past and was not impressed but she's probably better than Lars Larsen or Jerry Doyle so good luck to her, grating voice and all.

WNSH has added NOTHING to the quality of radio in Boston. And, somebody should tell Keating Willcox to stay the hell off the air, and learn how to do some professional radio production. He wants to play with the big boys but he still thinks he's just talking to his friends.

"Discover the experience!" Ya, I'm thrilled.
