WNSH-AM 1570 has requested an alteration in its existing CP, going from 50,000 watts DA to 30,000 watts non-directional. I'll believe it when it happens.

Interesting. I wonder how their women's programming is going.

It's women's programming during the day only--they take Radio Ritas, Women Aloud, and Rolanda Watts
from Greenstone Media but also have political talk (for all!) with Laura Ingraham (talk radio network). At
night, Michael (not Michelle) Reagan and Jerry (not Geraldine) Doyle :)

 Yeah, that does seem odd.

Although reading through the FCC's CDBS...it appears that this amendment is actually the result of an agreement with Five Towns College's WFTU. Looks like they filed a petition to deny against the original 50kW...although damned if I can tell why. WNSH's 50kW wouldn't do anything to WFTU's signal on Long Island. Maybe to WFTU's signal out over the Atlantic somewhere, but not over land.

Hmmm....30kW NonDir would make WNSH into a serious Boston daytimer, wouldn't it? Is Dan Strassberg around? :)
