So what do you guys think of Neal Boortz on WNTA? WLUV has also been running some sort of off the wall satellite talk programs during the late morning/early afternoon hours. Comments on either station?
I actually haven't heard WNTA yet... too busy. I have heard the crazy talk show on WLUV in the afternoon... Infowars.com I think. This guy is tearing it up with the conspiracy stuff. I love it, it is refreshing in an Art Bell kind of way. From a programming standpoint, it is a trainwreck. Let's go Classic Country into , hmmmmmm.... let's see, how about - Radical Talk. And then Cardinals baseball. Yeah - that's the ticket.
I had the day off Monday so I checked out the new WNTA... Ken D is a good news person, but he is the wrong guy for mornings... Had the morning show been geared more with news ken would have been perfect, but they are taking a lot of calls in the morning so it is just like when he was doing middays... Doug seems to enjoy his mid morning timeslot which is great for him... I am glad NTA picked up neal... I really like his show... To me it is not as good as he use to be, but it is a good alternative to Rush... I really enjoyed Bruce Butlers show as well... He is for the most part right down the middle on a lot of issues which is something that station needed for awhile... I know he is off to a good start because he had a lot of people calling in who had never called in before and he seems to be shaking things up a bit with the blue hairs... Ed Schultz has an interesting show... It skews a little to far left for me, but it still is a good show and it is something that will do pretty good here in Rockford... So far i like what the pony company has done with NTA... I hope they will give it a chance and let it grow unlike what RW would do if something did not get going in six to twelve months... CC
