WNYC 31 Sign Off 1972

My question to those who've seen this: Would anyone around back then who frequents this board today know for sure who was the announcer on duty at the time of that sign-off? Until a few years before this, Paul Manacher was an anchor at the station; at the time of this sign-off, the news was read by Herbert Boland weeknights and Saul Katz on weekends. And it's very likely the newsreader also doubled as the staff announcer (this was, after all, WNYC-TV), especially based on my recollections of the late 1970's when Jerry Miller (who anchored what by that time was News of New York) signed on and off the station every day, the only difference between then and this sign-off being who was mayor at the time (John V. Lindsay in 1972, Ed Koch by the time I followed the station's sign-ons and -offs), and what department Channel 31 was administered under (the Municipal Service Administration in 1972, the Department of General Services by the late '70's).
